GONIA is Greek for angle.

GONIA light projector by RED STICK© Lights is designed to achieve very wide angle of light projection to achieve widest possible projection for wall washing from a relatively short projection distance.

The objective is to achieve a projection of shadow free lighting to a wall surface with consistent intensity across the area of light landing.

Often in galleries paintings, drawing and graphic art can be hung in small spaces and even corridors or thoroughfares where even illumination by normal spotlighting is impossible to achieve. GONIA can solve this problem even in close proximity to the wall surface.

Colour rendition is the next important ingredient for illuminating art or anything requiring accurate colour rendition. Often referred to technically as CRI or RA it is a method by which the light source can be measured and given an index number which denotes the true quality of light on a scale of 0-100. A measurement of 100 would simply denote that all colours in a rainbow of light any colour at any point would be seen with no colour distortion. RA 95 or RA 98 is generally considered to be of exceptional quality using this method of identification.

RA 90 is considered very acceptable for general illumination tasks in high quality interiors but of course the greater the demand of the interior by way of colour, pictures and interior designer specifications often higher RA or CRI is often desirable.

GONIA can efficiently meet all the demands of a light projector with wide angle wall washing capabilities.
